High above Istanbul, A chic restaurant looks out from the 18th floor of the hotel

on the european side of ancient Turkey city.

And the man in charge is not the typical chef. 38 year old Mahmat guth was born in Finland to a Swedish mother and Turkish father. In the 12 years since moving to Istanbul, he has built up a network of several restaurants taking adventage of the contrast between Scandinavian and Eastern culture. 

but to succeed in this business, being a chef is not enough. Mahmat also spent 5 years studing management in the United States.
